With this type of teeth straightening short-term orthodontics, we can:

Step 3
Smile! Show off your dream smile
To straighten your teeth, Invisalign® uses comfortable, custom-created clear aligner trays. Each series of custom aligners are used approximately every one or two weeks before moving onto the next aligner to gradually and continually move your teeth into the desired position comfortably and conveniently. With each set of aligners, your teeth will move approximately 1/10mm each time.
Since aligners are not attached to the teeth, we use little pressure points called attachments that are tooth-color bumps bonded to your teeth during your treatment. The placement and shapes of each attachment are strategically placed, as it will depend on the movement required to get the desired results. If your teeth do not fit ideally with the aligners, minor reshaping or resizing is typically painless. Your dentist or orthodontist will ask you to come back to the office for check-ups regularly so they can ensure you’re getting the best results possible.
For the best results, it is highly recommended the aligners be worn for a minimum of 20 hours per day, including when you sleep. The only time you would normally remove the aligners is to eat and brush and floss your teeth.
Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign aligners are…
We offer kind and gentle treatment, with comfort a top priority
We recognize that every smile is unique. Our approach begins with a comprehensive consultation to get to know you and understand your smile goals
We’re honest and authentic, and we want all of our patients to feel they are in good hands
Invisalign clear aligners are an alternative to traditional braces for adults and teens. We may recommend Invisalign® for the following orthodontic issues for straight teeth.
Crowded Teeth – If your teeth are crowded, or you have crooked teeth, you’re more likely to suffer from cavities as it is harder to brush and floss properly. With Invisalign removable aligners, your dentist near Allen will be able to create a customized treatment plan to straighten your teeth for a healthy smile.
Spacing – Patients with extra space between their teeth, sometimes food can get stuck in the little gaps, increasing your risk for cavities, tooth decay, and bad breath.
Bite Alignment – When your bite isn’t in the proper alignment, you may grind or clench your teeth. This can wear down your teeth and cause pain and headaches. In severe cases where it is left untreated, it can eventually cause TMJ issues.
“[…] I ended up going with clear aligners where the process was pretty straightforward, as I had no trouble at all. After wearing my aligners for a few months, I’m absolutely thrilled with the results as my teeth look great. So happy!” – Richard F. (Feb 2021)
At Sloan Creek Dental, we accept most PPO insurance plans, but in cases where adult orthodontic care is only partially covered, and or you do not have insurance coverage, we partnered with CareCredit and LendingPoint. By partnering with CareCredit and LendingPoint, we offer 0% interest financing options to help offset the out-of-pocket cost and make your dental care more manageable.
Short-term orthodontics is a great solution for adults and teens who want a better smile but don’t want the long commitment to traditional metal braces. When you or a family member visits us, Dr. Feng can determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign® by conducting a thorough examination of your mouth in our Fairview dental office. With the Invisalign clear aligner program, it can address most common teeth-straightening and bite issues for a more confident smile.
Traditional, fixed-bracket orthodontic treatment can take anywhere from eighteen to thirty-six months. The innovation of Invisalign drastically reduces traditional treatment time from eighteen to thirty-six months down to twelve to eighteen months. Note that the length of time usually depends on the treatment needed. To ensure that your Invisalign® treatment progresses as planned, you’ll visit the dental practice every 6 weeks.
Yes, to prevent your teeth from moving back to their original positions, a retainer must be worn each night once your Invisalign treatment is completed, to ensure they remain in the proper position.
Caring for your smile while using Invisalign trays has never been easier! Simply remove your alignment trays and clean using a soft bristled toothbrush each morning and night. You would also brush and floss your teeth as you normally do to ensure you remove any plaque buildup. Continue to visit your dentist regularly to avoid new cavities or gum disease. We also recommend an anti-bacterial rinse in between meals. This will help preserve your oral health during your Invisalign treatment.
There will be some pressure and discomfort when you first put on your aligners. The discomfort typically lessens in a couple of days after each new set of trays. This is totally normal and a sign that your teeth are moving as they should, shifting into the correct position that Dr. Feng carefully planned out.
As with any orthodontic treatment, the cost of Invisalign depends on several factors – the length of treatment, the complexity of your case, and how many aligners you’ll need. Depending on your dental insurance provider, it can help lower the amount you pay out of pocket. If you don’t have insurance, or looking for payment options, Lending Point or CareCredit offers 0% financing, allowing you to make smaller monthly payments.
“[…] Dr. Feng and her staff are always attentive, respectful, friendly, and professional with everyone in my family. They took care of me with my cleaning and my clear braces.” – Mark C. (Mar 2021)

We firmly believe that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability.
To fulfill this, we aim to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities. Complying with those guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairment, cognitive disabilities, and more.
This website utilizes various technologies that are meant to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We utilize an accessibility interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs.
Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, adapts Its functionality and behavior for screen-readers used by the blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments.
If you’ve found a malfunction or have ideas for improvement, we’ll be happy to hear from you. You can reach out to the website’s operators by using the following email
Our website implements the ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) technique, alongside various different behavioral changes, to ensure blind users visiting with screen-readers are able to read, comprehend, and enjoy the website’s functions. As soon as a user with a screen-reader enters your site, they immediately receive a prompt to enter the Screen-Reader Profile so they can browse and operate your site effectively. Here’s how our website covers some of the most important screen-reader requirements, alongside console screenshots of code examples:
Screen-reader optimization: we run a background process that learns the website’s components from top to bottom, to ensure ongoing compliance even when updating the website. In this process, we provide screen-readers with meaningful data using the ARIA set of attributes. For example, we provide accurate form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icons, cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogues (popups), and others. Additionally, the background process scans all of the website’s images and provides an accurate and meaningful image-object-recognition-based description as an ALT (alternate text) tag for images that are not described. It will also extract texts that are embedded within the image, using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To turn on screen-reader adjustments at any time, users need only to press the Alt+1 keyboard combination. Screen-reader users also get automatic announcements to turn the Screen-reader mode on as soon as they enter the website.
These adjustments are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Keyboard navigation optimization: The background process also adjusts the website’s HTML, and adds various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website operable by the keyboard. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, operate dropdowns with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links using the Enter key, navigate between radio and checkbox elements using the arrow keys, and fill them in with the Spacebar or Enter key.Additionally, keyboard users will find quick-navigation and content-skip menus, available at any time by clicking Alt+1, or as the first elements of the site while navigating with the keyboard. The background process also handles triggered popups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, and not allow the focus drift outside of it.
Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) to jump to specific elements.
We aim to support the widest array of browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so our users can choose the best fitting tools for them, with as few limitations as possible. Therefore, we have worked very hard to be able to support all major systems that comprise over 95% of the user market share including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera and Microsoft Edge, JAWS and NVDA (screen readers), both for Windows and for MAC users.
Despite our very best efforts to allow anybody to adjust the website to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are in the process of becoming accessible, or are lacking an adequate technological solution to make them accessible. Still, we are continually improving our accessibility, adding, updating and improving its options and features, and developing and adopting new technologies. All this is meant to reach the optimal level of accessibility, following technological advancements. For any assistance, please reach out to
