The dental benefits allotted to you by Metlife does not roll over at the end of the year, which means to get the most out of your dental insurance plan, you should schedule two dental checkups and cleanings throughout the year, and if needed, schedule any complex treatment (dental implant, tooth extraction, orthodontics (Invisalign), etc.) before the end of the year to take advantage of your annual maximum.
